Throughout the late 80's and early 90's, I shopped occasionally at a small hole-in-the-wall store called the Record Exchange.  That was a great little shop, chock full of CDs and vinyl and posters and T-shirts and such, a lot of it obscure, most of it used.  At the time it was just about the only place that would let you trade in old stuff for new stuff.  Well, new for YOU anyway.

One of several titles I bought there was Level 42's World Machine (1985), mainly because I liked the most successful single from it, "Something About You."  Over time I soured on that song somewhat, but at the same time I developed a fondness for many of the other tracks from that album.  "Leaving Me Now" was one of them.

Sadly, not only does the Record Exchange not exist anymore, the building it was in was, if you'll pardon the pun, leveled.  It's one big empty lot of dirt now.
