Glenn Case gave me a very nice plug on his song-a-day blog yesterday, so I am featuring one of his tunes today.

Glenn is easily one of most talented and prolific artists in the Songfight community.  His skill as a singwriter*, his versatility as a performer and his proficiency as an instrumentalist are very highly regarded around those parts (and did not go unnoticed by the folks at the Spokane 7).  I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Case at a live Songfight event last year and he couldn't have been nicer or more humble.  Musicians, especially great ones, have a tendency to be kind of arrogant and self-absorbed, but Glenn is not at all like that.

Trying to pick just one favorite from his extensive catalog would be fruitless.  Among his many gems is a little ditty entitled "I am the President of the Sony Entertainment Corp, LTD."  In an earlier entry I stated how much I enjoyed songs that make fun of the music industry, and this one gives it a good, healthy skewering.  And "get your f**kin' art out of my revenue stream" is one of the greatest lines ever.

*Again, I use the term "singwriter" in lieu of "singer/songwriter."
