
Faith No More's final album was 1997's Album of the Year, and it's often considered their weakest. Even the bulk of the band members were ultimately displeased with it, with Patton himself saying "we were starting to make bad music." I agree with that sentiment to a certain extent, although I will also say that even the worst FNM album is still better than most every other one.
However, it does have some highlights, and one track I am absolutely batsheet crazy about is "Stripsearch." It just has that trademark Faith No More haunting, melancholic quality.
