1991's Sailing the Seas of Cheese was Primus' first major label release, and is widely considered to be the album that "broke" them as a band. One of its singles, "Tommy the Cat", was the song that first exposed many to the talents of Claypool and company.

When I first saw the video, my jaw dropped.  I mean, sure, guys had been playing slap bass for decades, but who in their right mind ever did it like THAT?

As a side note, I've seen Primus play live three times, and I have yet to see them play this song.  I mean, really, guys, I can understand why you'd want to bury it, but come on, throw me a bone here...
