True, A View to a Kill (1985) wasn't that great. Roger Moore was getting a bit long in the tooth, and he probably made at least one Bond film too many. The Christopher Walken villain was just an over-the-top crackpot. I'll let you form your own opinion about Grace Jones. And the annoyingly clingy, whiny Tanya Roberts character was quite possibly the worst Bond girl ever. Sure, some people complain about the Bond movies being "sexist", but truth be told, we like our Bond women strong and fiercely independent as well as sexy. Like Pussy Galore. Oh man, she totally rocked the house. Or that one from Moonraker. Or the one that 007 married in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Diana Rigg FTW!
In any case, as disappointing as A View to a Kill was, I loved the theme song Duran Duran did. Scoff if you will, but I think it's great.

Watch the opening credits. Geez, even that sequence is kinda lame. Love the song, though.
This is part of week-long series on songs from the James Bond films.
