Give me a freaking break.

Look, I'm not a rap fan.  But I'm not one to automatically trash a song just because it's in a style I'm not into.  I like to think I can judge a song on its individual merits without any kind of genre bias involved.  Well, I've judged the 50 Cent hit "Just a Lil Bit" on its individual merits.  And my judgment is as follows - it has none.

Look, if you're into rap, that's fine.  But you deserve better than this.

UPDATE (07/12/08):  Yes, I actually felt compelled to come back here a day later and trash this turd some more.

Man, that whole repetitive pseudo-Arabic-sounding little hook is friggin' irritating.  Why not just tie me to a gurney, turn me over and physically place hungry earwigs into my ears while you're at it?  I remember one of the other song-a-day guys (I think it was Niveous) saying that what ruins so many rap songs is "bad musical choices."  He was 100% correct.  This is a prime example of a horrific musical choice.

Grit your teeth and watch the video for "Just a Lil Bit" on YouTube.  No, having scantily dressed women in your video will not make your song better.

This is part of a week-long series on songs I hate.
