This kickin' Beck song was redone by a prolific Songfight member who simply goes by the name of Melvin.  Really, he has a rather extensive catalog.

In all honesty, I've never really been a big fan of his stuff.  Even though I can appreciate his performance skill and his ability to put a song together, most of his tunes were just too "indie" (read: boring) to appeal to me.  I really do find most of the prototypical "indie" bands to be patently dull, and it always seemed like Melvin was trying too hard to emulate that style and reproduce that formula.  Not to say he didn't do it well, just the mere fact he did it at all.

But I'm totally groovin' on this Beck cover of his.  He did it flawlessly.
