OH NOES HE'S POSTING ANOTHER VANDALS SONG MAKE IT STOP PLEAZE OMG WTF BBQ
Actually, this is the first track I've posted from 1996's The Quickening, and the idea came about after last week's Agent Orange song. You may have heard something about Agent Orange frontman Mike Palm suing the Offspring, claiming that the Offspring hit "Come Out and Play" borrowed a riff from AO's "Bloodstains." Apparently, someone from one of Agent Orange's former labels submitted a claim against the Offspring's label, the Offspring told them to go pound sand, and a suit was never filed. Still, some people came down on Palm pretty hard, and the Vandals saw fit to record "Aging Orange" as a not-so-thinly veiled jab at him.
Just speaking for myself, I like the song. It's funny. And I still like Agent Orange. I love the Vandals, obviously. Don't like the Offspring at all. There, that should cover it.
