I was originally going to skip today. But it Pat can unearth an entry on a Saturday after not posting for an entire month, I guess I can whip one out too.
During my "good songs from crappy albums" week, I posted the Romeo Void standard "Never Say Never." Love that song. Hated the album it was on.
Never heard their later release Instincts, so I don't know if it sucks large amounts of donkeys as well. It could hardly be worse. It does, however, contain another favorite single, called "A Girl in Trouble (Is a Temporary Thing)", which was actually more successful than "Never Say Never" in terms of chart position.
If that album does in fact blow greasy chunks, then I guess some bands were just like that. They could make a great hit single but couldn't do a good album filler track if their lives depended on it.
